CrimeNet in LazyTown - Chapter 2
Clanking into the shadows, RoboCrook met Carmen. She looked at the bot, with a disappointed look on her face.
"You told them where the loot was. What is going on with you?" she stepped towards the bot, inspecting him. "You also attacked Glanni..."
"Was I not supposed to do that?"
"No, not at all. Glanni has been my friend for years."
"Apparently, not friends no more." A voice from behind them spoke.
Carmen turned to look at the person. Of course. Standing there was Vic the Slick.
"Vic, what are you doing here?"
"Came to see what was going on, baby doll."
Rolling her eyes, Carmen glared at him. "I'm not your baby doll. And of course Glanni is still my friend."
"Looks like he's working with ACME CrimeNet to me."
"He has no choice in the matter. It's do this or go back to jail... you remember what he did. The poisoning?"
It took a moment, but Vic remembered. "Oh yeah."
"Now, why don't you try to get into the museum and steal the biggest artifact you can find?"
"Anything for you, baby doll."
"Ugh. Call me that one more time, and I'm going to throw you into the lake."
"You know you love me." Vic replied, heading off towards the museum with a sense of determination.
Shaking her head in annoyance at his words, Carmen turned her attention back to RoboCrook. “Come on, I saw a place in town that looks like a good spot to lay low.”
The bot didn’t question Carmen; she was his boss. He followed – loudly – as Carmen led him to behind the billboard. There was Robbie’s lair. The duo had no clue that it was currently occupied by LazyTown’s resident villain.
“Now, how do we get in..?” Carmen asked, taking a step back and looking at it. She pulled on the lid of the hatch, trying to lift it. It was heavy, and she only got it up just a little before it slammed down with quite the sound.
Meanwhile, down in the lair, Robbie had settled in, sitting in his fuzzy orange chair, bowl full of chocolate-covered popcorn in his lap. He had just turned on the TV when the sound of the hatch lid slamming down startled him, sending his late-night snack flying. It took him a couple moments to realize what the noise was… someone wanted in!
Robbie glanced up towards the lid of the hatch, a look of concern and annoyance on his face. He got up and headed to see who – or what – was out there.

“That didn’t work.” Carmen thought out loud, recoiling some from the noise. She walked from one side of the hatch to the other, trying to figure out if there was any way to make it easier. Of course, she knew she could use RoboCrook to do it, but she was still a bit annoyed with him.
As she made her way back to the side where the bot was standing, the hatch flew open, and Robbie stepped out. He looked from Carmen to RoboCrook, annoyed. “What do you want?”
Carmen took a step back, blinking her eyes a couple of times. “Robbie?”
Robbie furrowed his brow as he looked at her. “Do I know you?” he asked.
The villainess couldn’t help but chuckle. “Mm-hmm. Maybe this will help.” She took off her iconic red hat, stepping closer to Robbie. The villain’s eyes widened as a flood of memories came back to him.
“Carmen… it’s been so long.”
***RoboCrook was silent watching their interaction. He looked at Robbie, scanning him, taking in all information he learned.
Róbert Þór Ríkarðsson, alias Robbie Rotten
Birthdate: July 10, 1986
Sibling(s): Glanni Kristján Ríkarðsson, alias Glanni Glæpur
Occupation: Villain, inventor
RoboCrook processed the information for a few moments, staying silent. It would be best, given what he had done to Glanni.
Robbie looked at the bot, then looked back at Carmen. “So... you have a robot too.”
She nodded. “Yes. He’s… not functioning quite right today. I need a place for him to… shut down for a bit, you know. Almost like a fresh restart.”
“Why don’t you bring him and come inside? I’ll show you my robot. Maybe they’ll get along.”
Carmen smiled. “I’d like that.”
